Product Description
This is a piston gudgeon pin removal tool.
It can be used with most types of piston, providing that the inner gudgeon pin diameter is great enough.
How does it work?
- Screw the circular brace section onto the end of the main tool body.
- Locate the main tool body (with the brace attached) to one side of the piston, over the pin hole, in the direction in which you want the pin to travel.
- Insert the pulling pin into the pin hole on the opposite side of the piston, so that it travels through the centre of the gudgeon pin.
- Once inserted, screw the pulling pin into the inside of the main tool body using an Allen / hex key.
- Turn the main bolt in the tool body so that it moves away from the piston, thereby pulling the gudgeon pin with it.
Please note: the circular brace section may be supplied in either metal of durable nylon. For best results lubricate the tool's threads before use.
